OUR PRACTICE
HOW WE WORK
DCA relies on teamwork, careful orchestration, as well as a thorough consideration of needs to design architecture that is governed by each project’s specific dynamics. Using a combination of creativity, sensibility and objectivity, DCA’s team of highly experienced architects and designers work collaboratively with clients to deliver impressive forms and inspiring spaces.
The practice functions as a collective whole, drawing from a talented and experienced team to provide a high level of service. Taking the lead is the Management Team, comprised of Directors and Associate Directors, who are responsible for managing the design and strategic development of the practice. Their diverse experience and ability to respond to changing demands ensures that we possess the flexibility and capability to undertake a wide variety of projects of varying size, typology and complexity.
OUR APPROACH
Our work is based on dedication, sound management, and the informed use of technology and materials. Comprising a team of highly experienced architects and designers, we believe that a successful work of architecture is defined as an entity that is enduring, efficient, and of high quality. Our designs are informed by industry, best practices, and by a strong understanding of Building Information Modelling (BIM), Virtual Design and Construction (VDC) and Integrated Digital Delivery (IDD) technology.
For DCA, the creative-thought process is a team effort fundamental to the practice of good and responsible architecture. DCA never underestimates the richness of fresh insights and has gained much inspiration through ideas contributed and shared within their office work environs. We create and innovate through the exchange of ideas and feedback with clients and partners, and by extension of this process, they are integral to the design process through collaborative interactions.
Creating impressive forms and inspiring spaces requires a combination of creativity, sensibility, and objectivity. It relies on teamwork, careful orchestration, as well as a thorough consideration of needs. The architecture we design is characterized and governed by the project’s specific dynamics. By exploring these dynamics, the creation of space and form is informed by fresh insights throughout the design process.
